This year HELDIG Summit brings together digital social sciences and humanities in a day that takes a snapshot at the state of the art in digital research through methodological encounters. A line-up of some 50 flash-talks and poster presentations will showcase the latest research, data, tools and methodologies at the intersection of historical, societal and cultural heritage perspectives. The summit addresses the following questions, what challenges in data-processing new methods enable us to overcome? How to maintain and adapt infrastructure to the fast-changing technological landscape? How to target the use of AI responsibly in the research cycle?
Join us on December 4 from 10:30-18:00 at the University of Helsinki , Minerva Plaza (Siltavuorenpenger 5A) to get inspired, network across faculties and disciplines, or learn what is new in digital humanities and social science research. The summit will include a closing reception from 16:30-18:00.
